Claudio Pescia

Claudio Pescia ( born November 17, 1963 in Zurich ) is a Swiss curler.

At the European Championships from 1994 to 1998 and at the World Championships in 1996 Pescia played for Italy. The best finish was 4th place at the European Championships in Grindelwald in 1995.

After that he played for his native country, Switzerland. As vice -skip in the team of Ralph Stöckli Pescia played at the European Championships in 2002 and 2005, and at the World Championships in 2003 and 2006. 2003 World Cup in Winnipeg was by winning the silver medal with his biggest success.

In 2006, Pescia at the Olympic Winter Games in Turin. The team finished fifth and thus took an Olympic diploma. From the following season he skippte his own team and in 2008 was the third time Swiss champion.

Today Pescia struggling with a significantly tapered team for another national title and is aiming to qualify for international competitions at.
