Claudius Hollyband

Claudius Holly band (* 1534 in Moulins, † November 1594 in London) was a British linguist, lexicographer and language didactics of French origin.

Life and work

Claude de Sainliens came in 1564 as a Huguenot refugee to London and published under the name of Claudius Holyband (or Holly band or Holliband ) foreign pache didactic works relating to the French and Italian.
