Claus Schromm

Claus Schromm (born 21 April 1969) is a German football coach and sports director since January 2014 the SpVgg Unterhaching.

Schromm played at FC Deisenhofen and the BSC Sendling in Munich. At the age of 24 he suffered a severe injury to his left knee, which meant the end of career. It was followed by five knee surgeries and a half years rehab. He became a coach at this time. From 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2003, he was coach of the U19 of SpVgg Unterhaching and then to June 30, 2009 coach of the U19 TSV 1860 München.

From 1 July 2010, he coached the first team of the SV Heimstetten in the Bavarian League. The contract was canceled due to the sporting situation by mutual consent with immediate effect on 28 October 2011. In 2012 he took over as coach at third division SpVgg Unterhaching; at his side acted Manuel tree as team boss. In January 2014, an internal restructuring, with Schromm moved to the post of sporting director, while tree head coach was carried out.
