Clean Bandit

Clean Bandit is an English electropop band.

Band History

The musicians met while studying at Jesus College in Cambridge know. In 2008 she joined forces to Clean Bandit, which later became a quartet from the original five members. They had mainly as support other artists first successes in Cambridge. The band members come from the classical music that they incorporate in their electro-pop; but they also give a purely classical concerts. On the other hand, they established in Cambridge with the National Rail Disco successful Dance -night event with renowned guest musicians.

Despite Offered by Warner Music or Mercury Records, they decided to produce their publications including videos themselves, and founded her own company Incredible Industries. In October 2010 they released Mozart 's House and a little later on YouTube Telephone Banking, and especially its ornate videos attracted great attention. Stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Channel 4 began to play their music. But the musical breakthrough did not come until the end of 2012 - now Clean Bandit had moved to London - with the EP A E, whose title song brought first commercial success and peaked in the Electronic charts of iTunes first place. With the single release of Mozart 's House in April 2013, it then had a top 20 hit in the UK charts.

In January 2014 their single reached Rather Be # 1 on the UK Singles Chart and was also placed well in other European charts.
