Clean Diamond Trade Act

The Clean Diamond Trade Act (Act for clean diamond trade ) is a U.S. law enacted in 2003, which is intended to prevent diamonds from conflict regions ( "blood diamonds" ) are traded in the U.S.. It regulates - in conjunction with the Kimberley Process - the handling of rough diamonds as a commodity.
