Clean feed (TV)

In the Clean Feed (English for clean signal ) is a signal type of video technology.

The Clean Feed ( CLF ) refers to a broadcast of any specific graphics and overlays free, so clean image signal. It is often used in the archiving of articles or entire programs in TV channels or for the exchange program.

Since these insertions ( such as so-called belly bands, Scores at sporting events, etc.) often show the mission logo, or follow certain design specifications of these items, a neutral image is necessary, for example, in a repeat of this article in another shipment. In this neutral image differently shaped inserts are now possible.

Even if only parts of the consignment to be edited into a new post, a clean feed record is desired. This is especially important in sports, such as when a live football game is to put together an article for a sports magazine.
