Clean House

Clean House (English for " Clean House ") is a reality show ( Makeover Show) of American television. Theme of the show is the use of a cleanup and interior design teams in the household of a family that no longer cope with the disorder and the accumulated junk in her home.

The show, which individual episodes are about 45 minutes long, is produced by the Los Angeles-based cable television company The Style Network and aired since 3 September 2003.

Action and performer

Hostess of the show is the comedienne Niecy Nash, the American television audience of the comedy series Reno 911! is known. The members of her team are the " design guru " Mark Brunetz, the " Yard Sale Diva" Trish Suhr and the " Go-to -Guy " (craftsmen ) Matt Iseman.

Each show begins with a visit of the team with a family that has not accumulated the order within their budget under control and in house and garage overwhelming amounts of junk. In the first phase of the cleanup it comes to weed out those things that are no longer required and are to be sold to make room and raise the money for the redevelopment of previously disorderly rooms. Among the recurring station the show a part of the resistance of family members who initially do not want to part with their cherished useless things. The second phase is the Yard Sale (known in Germany under the name rather Garage Sale ), are at the front of the house as sold on a garage sale, the discarded items. What remains as unsaleable, is picked up by a welfare organization. In the third phase, selected rooms are being renovated and redesigned. The end of each episode is the reception of the family members in the finished tidy house that they do not have may see while working.
