Clear Creek County [ klɪɹ kɹi ː k], named after the river, Clear Creek ( " clear stream " ) is a county located in the northern part of the U.S. state of Colorado - in the front mountain chain ( Front Range ) of the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, located. History
