Cleavant Derricks (actor)

Cleavant Derricks, Jr. ( born May 15, 1953 in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA) is an American actor and singer who has become in Germany mainly by the TV series " Sliders" known.

The black actor with comedic talent first played with in many plays and musicals. Some of them are. In "Jesus Christ Superstar " and " Dreamgirls ," for which he received the 1982 Tony Award In 1986 he was nominated a second time for the Tony Award as Best Actor ( in Musical) for " Big Deal".
