Küntzig ( Luxembourgish Kënzeg locally Kéinzig, French Clemency ) is a village in the municipality Käerjeng in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Until the end of 2011 Küntzig was a community and belonged to the Canton chapels. On 1 January 2012, it was merged with Bascharage the greater community Käerjeng. On 1 January 2013 counted Küntzig 1830 inhabitants, spread over 693 households.

The community consisted of the villages Küntzig and Fingig. The neighboring communities were:

History

Küntzig already the Gauls had known since they found the tomb of a rich Gaul from the last century BC.

Mills in Küntzig
