Clemens Rapp

Clemens Andreas Rapp ( * July 14, 1989 in Weingarten ) is a German swimmer.

Rapp won the 2007 gold with the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay and silver in the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships. His first start at a major international championship Rapp graduated at the World Swimming Championships in 2009, he finished fifth with the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay. At the European Championships in 2010 Rapp reached the singles final over 400 meters freestyle, finishing in seventh place; as the final swimmer in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay, he won together with Paul Biedermann, Tim Wall Burger and Robin Backhaus the silver medal behind the Russian squadron. Two years later, the German squadron in the statement Paul Biedermann, Dimitri Colupaev, Clemens Rapp and Tim Wall Burger won the title in the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the European Championships in Debrecen. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, he was with the Fourth Season. 2013 he became German champion in the 200m and 400m freestyle and thus qualified in the 200m and the 4 x 200 freestyle relay for the World Swimming Championships 2013 in Barcelona.

The 1.92 m wide Rapp swims for TSV Bad Saulgau, he trained under Michael Spikermann at the Olympic Training Center Rhein- Neckar in Heidelberg. He studied industrial engineering at the SRH University Heidelberg. He has a brother and a sister.
