Clemente Grosso della Rovere

Clemente Grosso della Rovere (* 1462 in Savona, † August 18, 1504 in Rome ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Clemente was the eldest son of Antonio Grosso and Maria Basso della Rovere, sister of Cardinal Girolamo Basso della Rovere and niece of Pope Sixtus IV. Clemente was given the surname of his father and kept the additional della Rovere, given the importance of noble family.

The brother of Leonardo Grosso della Rovere joined the Order of Friars Minor and was born on August 27, 1483 Bishop of Mende. 1495, he was Vizelegat in Avignon and a year later rector of Comtat venaissin.
