Cleobulus

Cleobulus of Lindos, Greek Κλεόβουλος ὁ Λίνδιος or Κλεόβουλος ὁ Ῥοδίος, was in the 6th century BC the tyrant of Lindos ( a major port city on the Greek island of Rhodes ). Cleobulus was different from later tyrants not a tyrant, but was still viewed positively by later generations; one even considered him among the seven sages.
