Cleveland Lumberjacks
The Cleveland Lumberjacks are a former ice hockey team, which was active in the International Hockey League. The club was founded in 1992 and dissolved in 2001. The club colors are blue, gold and black. Their home games carried the Lumberjacks between 1992 and 1994 in the Coliseum at Richfield and from 1994 in the 20,000 -seat Gund Arena in Cleveland from.
History
When the Muskegon Lumberjacks moved in 1992 to Cleveland, the Cleveland Lumberjacks were founded, which from then on played in the International Hockey League. In the first season in the IHL, the Lumberjacks reached the first round of the play -offs, which was lost, however. After qualifying for the play-offs was not achieved in the 1993/94 season could be achieved in the seasons 1994/95 and 1995/96, only the first round.
