Clifton James
Clifton James (* May 29, 1921 in New York City, New York ) is an American actor in film and television.
Life
Clifton James was first roles on television in the early 1950s. He was known primarily for his portrayal of Sheriff JW Pepper in the two James Bond films Live and Let Die (1973 ) and The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).
On television, James had many guest appearances in well-known series, including Gunsmoke, The Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas and The A-Team.
