Clinomachus
Kleinomachos of Thurii was a Greek philosopher of ancient, probably of the 4th century BC It is one of him to the flow of the Megarians.
There are no writings receive Kleinomachos ', a few testimonies (ancient reports on the life and teachings ) can be found in Diogenes Laertius and the authors Pseudo- Galen and in the Suda ( Encyclopedia of the 9th century ).
Life
According to ancient reports Kleinomachos was a pupil of the philosopher Euclid of Megara. Speusippos made Kleinomachos for the title character of his lost dialogues.
Teaching
Diogenes Laertius has narrated that Kleinomachos wrote the first " about statements ( axiōmátōn ) and predicates ( katēgorēmátōn ) and such things." Klaus Döring comments: " Behind this note is merit to conceal the development of the dialectic, which are larger than we are still tangible today."
