Clinton is a city in Henry County, Missouri, USA. In an area of 24.0 km ² live, according to a census from 2010, 9,008 persons. 95 % of the population are White and 1.9 % African American.

Clinton is on the western end of the Katy Trail, a 225 mile long National Park, which is used by cyclists, runners and riders. The park was built on the route of the old Missouri - Kansas - Texas Railroad, which ran between Clinton and Sedalia and in 1989 went out of service. The old Katy Trail from Clinton to Nevada South drives but still. The city is located near the Truman Lake, which is known for its ability to boating, fishing and camping.

The Bensen Center is a large, modern meeting hall. Opened in 2006, a large indoor swimming pool complex.

On 26 June 2006 crashed in the historic center a a building in which at that time met a club. One person died and nine others had to be pulled from the rubble.
