Clive Hachilensa

Clive Hachilensa ( born September 17, 1979 in Mazabuka, Zambia ) is a Zambian football player. The defender is at ZESCO United under contract and is also active in the Zambian national team.

Hachilensa played to 2005 in Zambia at Ndola United, Railway Express, Kabwe Warriors, Green Buffaloes and ZESCO United. In 2005 he joined the South African Premier Soccer League to the Free State Stars, but rose in his first season with the club from. 2006/ 07 he was captain of the team and led the club back into the top flight. His contract was not renewed yet, and so he joined in August 2007 free transfer in the Finnish First Division to IFK Mariehamn. After the end of the season, he returned in late 2007 again returned to Zambia, but has Mariehamn an option for a commitment in the 2008 season.

In the Zambian National Hachilensa debuted in 2001 under coach Ben Bamfuchile. In 2006, he came in two of three games during the Africa Cup 2006 used, but could not prevent the elimination in the first round. Between 2004 and 2007, he participated in four consecutive COSAFA Cup, his performance in 2005 also made sure the commitment by the Free State Stars. Greatest success was about winning the title in 2006. For the African Cup of Nations 2008, he was expected to be nominated and stood at the opening win against Sudan in the starting lineup.
