Clive Wood

Clive Wood ( born 1954 in Croydon, London ) is a British film and stage actor.

Clive Wood was born in the London Borough of Croydon and studied drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art Acting-wise, he was for the first time in the late 1970s, active, where he debuted at the Bristol Old Vic in multiple roles on the stage. In 1982, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, with whom he went on tour in North America among others. In the 2000s he also appeared in several historical stage plays with the RSC.

In 1982, he starred in an ITV production alongside Joanne Whalley in his first television role. Since then he has starred in numerous television series and films, including, inter alia in an episode of Doctor Who and in the film adaptation of Treasure Island in 1990, in which he played Captain Smollett alongside Charlton Heston and Christian Bale. Wood has a son named Daniel Maiden -Wood, who was also in two series before the camera.
