Cloaking
Cloaking (English cover ) is a technique for search engine optimization, in which the crawlers of the search engines at the same URL a different page is presented as the visitor. It is used to improve the ranking in search engines and indexing.
The aim of the Cloakings is to simultaneously present an optimized for search engines and visitors. Since search engines primary process and index text content, a text-based, structurally optimized HTML page they will be delivered. Human visitors who use a browser other hand obtain an optimized page for them for the same URL. These may include, for example, multimedia content such as flash movies or videos, their content for search engines are invisible. The author can protect with this method as well as its optimization methods before the eyes of the competition.
Techniques
User-Agent cloaking is available if dependent on the user agent different content is presented. From IP Cloaking (also called IP -delivery ) however, we speak, if the contents are differentiated according to the IP address.
Search Engine
Cloaking is prohibited under the guidelines of most search engines. Violations that are discovered, most have a permanent exclusion from the index result. Cloaking can be unmasked by search engine giant with a normal browser ID and a fake IP address to access the website and compare the contents with that of the search engine. A trademark and unfair competition infringement occurs when foreign brands used on bridge sites and these are hidden by cloaking.
