Clothes horse

Laundry stand ( also known as dryer) is a device for suspending washed laundry to dry.

The Clotheshorse can be made of metal, plastic, or (nowadays rare ) wood. It consists for example of a stator and of a rectangular area having a plurality of parallel to each other running lines or wires. Although wires often cause rust stains on the clothes, unless it is stainless steel wire, with linen clothes are rarely offered.

Since the drying rack has a compact construction, it can also be used in space. Once the wash is dry, the drying rack can be folded and stored in a space -saving.

If the laundry is dried in a residential environment, the humidity must be dissipated through increased ventilation to prevent moisture penetration; in heated rooms this is lost relatively large amount of heat energy.

Renters may dry laundry in the apartment. This is the heart of the Mietgebrauchs. If drying the laundry in the apartment prohibited, the landlord must an alternative way of drying clothes offer.
