Club Atlético Tigre

Club Atlético Tigre is an Argentine football club based in Victoria in the province of Buenos Aires. The club was founded in 1902 rose after the 2006/07 season in the Primera División.

History

The club was founded in 1902 in Tigre. He is now in the small town of Victoria, located approximately 30 km north of the capital in the province of Buenos Aires. Tigre has played first-class total in 24 seasons in the professional sector. Prior to 2007, the 1955 season was the most successful year in the club's history when the club sixth out of 16 teams was. First class played the club in 1931-33, 1935-42, 1946-50, 1954-58, 1968, 1980 and again since 2007.

In the season 2004/2005 the Tigre won the Primera B Metropolitana. 2006 Diego Cagna coach of the team and reached at the first attempt the climb in the Primera División. In the play-offs they could beat CA Nueva Chicago, the rise was overshadowed, however, by the riots opposing fans.

For the Apertura 2007 was Tigre as acute danger of relegation, but the team surprised the critics and won ten of the 19 games. Stadium

Club Atlético Tigre plays in the Estadio José Dellagiovanna, Victoria. The stadium was inaugurated on 20 September 1936 in a match against Argentina's top team Boca Juniors. This game ended 4-0 for Boca. The first official game within a game of the Argentine Association ended on December 6, 1936, 0-4 against Independiente. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 spectators.
