Club Med

The Club Méditerranée S. A. (Club Med) is arisen in the 1950s French tourism company that operates more than eighty holiday clubs and a club ship worldwide. History

When the Belgian Gérard Blitz spent his holidays in 1950 in a tent village in Corsica, the thought came to him a new holiday concept in which " all inclusive " and the tourists will also entertain. The comedy film Les Bronzés (1978 ) by Patrice Leconte, and based thereon film series, caricatured a Club Med holiday and was a great success with the public in France.
