Clucy

Clucy is a commune in the French department of Jura in the Franche -Comté.

Geography

Clucy is located on 608 m above sea level. M., east of Salins- les- Bains and about 23 km north of the city Champagnole (air line). The farming village extends in the Jura, on the first Jura plateau, on a plateau east of the Erosionstals Furieuse on the edge of the trough of the Ruisseau de Gouaille.

History

The territory of Clucy been inhabited since prehistoric times and during the Gallo- Roman period. Is first mentioned in the 12th century Clucy.
