Cluses

Cluses is a French town with 17,416 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haute -Savoie, located halfway between Geneva and Chamonix.

The city is well known for its rotating parts industry, more than 200 companies are located here. Situated on the rail line from La Roche- sur -Foron -Saint -Gervais from Cluses Train Station is served, among other things from the TGV Paris -Saint -Gervais- les- Bains, important road link is the motorway A40 ( Geneva - Chamonix ), the Mont - Blanc tunnel leads. The Mont Blanc is also within easy reach. Twin cities of Cluses are Trossingen ( Germany, Baden- Württemberg) and Beaverton ( USA, Oregon).
