Clyde M. Narramore

Maurice Clyde Narramore (* 1916) is an American psychologist and the founder of the Narramore Christian Foundation.

Life

Narramore studied psychology and a doctorate at Columbia University. He is regarded as one of the first psychologists Christian character who found a widespread attention. Narramore is the author of numerous books. He was the founder of his own radio show, which gained notoriety under the name Psychology for Living in the 1950s. A job at the Los Angeles County public schools he gave in 1958 to the benefit of the foundation named after him Narramore Christian Foundation, whose work he devoted himself. In 1970 he founded the Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology, which was incorporated in 1977 in the Biola University, a private Christian college.
