CNN-IBN

CNN-IBN is an English-language Indian TV news channel.

The transmitter is a partnership between Global Broadcast News and Turner Broadcasting System ( Turner) in India ( a division of Time Warner ). Rajdeep Sardesai is the head of the transmitter. The Indian company GBN runs the channel completely, it still uses the company name CNN in return for a 26 per cent participation by Time Warner.

The transmitter transmits 24 hours a day. The program is similar to that of CNN in the United States with current discussions on news and news reports. The flagship evening program is India at 9, which is usually transmitted on CNN Pipeline, although it is not running simulcast, with the exception of breaking news, such as the bombings in Mumbai in 2006 and the attacks on 26 November 2008 in Mumbai.
