CNSAD

The Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique ( CNSAD ) in Paris is considered the oldest and most important drama school in France. It goes back to, which was established in 1784 École royale de chant et de declamation, in which the speech was rather minor for musicians. This also explains the term conservatory, which is commonly used in music schools, but not for drama schools.

1806, the drama was major. 1946, the Conservatory was divided, the spectacle was allowed to keep the 1811, designed as a concert hall Théâtre du Conservatoire, the musicians came out. Since 1968, the conservatory bears its present name.
