The disused colliery Hasard (or Cheratte 10 ) is located in Cheratte, part of the city Visé, Liège Province, in the Walloon Region in Belgium.
History
The first shaft for the extraction of coal was laid in 1850, but closed again after an accident in 1877. The reopening took place thirty years later, in 1907, and until 1977 there was coal promoted; the bill was with four shafts the most important companies in the Société anonyme of Charbonnages du Hasard. By Urban Exploration ( private urban research ) is still known in the early twenty-first century the bill. A restoration of the land and the demolition of some buildings are planned 2014-2015.
