Coast Guard Investigative Service

The U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service ( CGIS ) is a law enforcement agency of the United States Coast Guard ( U.S. Coast Guard ). The motto of the CGIS is Service, Integrity, Justice. Operate approximately 230 civilian and military special agents to the Authority. In addition, 158 special agents of the Coast Guard Reserve are working for the Authority. The agents and other ( technical and administrative ) staff spread over 35 regional offices and headquarters in Arlington County in the immediate vicinity of the Pentagon.
