The coat of arms of Aruba has been in use since November 15, 1955.

Blazon

Framework through a continuous silver beams cross, in one in blue a growing golden aloe plant, in two parts of gold and blue, above a growing flattened green mountain, down three silver shaft threads into three gold, two from the field margins growing folded red hands and in four in a red sechsspeichiges silver gear. On the shield a red lion lying below the shield two tied with a green bow green laurel branches.

The aloe is a major island product and was export product of Aruba, the green mountain with the three silver waves in blue represents the 165 m high volcanic cone Hooiberg in the island in the form of a haystack is, therefore, the Dutch name that embodies the island of Aruba in the sea, because from all sides of the island visible to the faithful red hands symbolize the expression of the desire for peace among peoples and for which good relations with the wider world of Aruba, and the silver spoked wheel is the sign for the economy and industry of the country; the adjacent red lion represents power, the couple laurel branches for peace.
