The Official Coat of Arms of Bermuda is valid since 4 October 1910.
Description
The coat of arms shows a facing the viewer, red blue armored lion in green sign foot standing holding a sign. On the blue shield with silver natural waves in the small sign foot a representation of the beach end ship " Sea Venture ".
Under the coat of arms, a golden banner with the motto: "QUO FATA FERUNT "
Symbolism
The crew of the " Sea Venture " entered after a shipwreck in 1609 as the first from outside the island. The lion symbolizes the United Kingdom, so that the good relations should be expressed about this.
