Coat of arms of Jersey

The coat of arms is a red shield jerseys with three golden lions, which are better known as leopards of Normandy. It was derived from a seal that the English King Edward I, 1279, the Bailiff of Jersey. 1907 allowed Edward VII of the island officially the use of the traditional coat of arms.

The coat of arms jerseys is very similar to those of Normandy, Guernsey and England. Since 1981, the flag jerseys uses the crest.
