Coatbridge

Coatbridge is a Scottish town in North Lanarkshire near Glasgow. The approximately 53,000 inhabitants, is the center of the Scottish iron industry.

Due to the migration of many Irish in the 19th and 20th centuries Coatbridge is also known as Little Ireland.

Some sections of the Monkland Canal are still preserved in Coatbridge.
