Cochise Tradition

As Cochise culture a suspected Indian culture in present-day southwestern United States was referred to the mid-20th century. After various ideas they should be BC or even with a much earlier start to 12,000 BC, then settled in the Archaic period, from about 5000 BC to 2000, the Paläoindianer comprehensively. You should mark the change of the Indians of that region of hunter-gatherers to settled farmers by taking over the farming culture of crops such as sunflowers, beans, corn, pumpkins, and cotton from Mexico. From Cochise culture, the Hohokam, Mogollon and Anasazi culture should be developed.

The assignment of the archaeological finds from the period to a unified culture and the term are considered obsolete and are no longer used since the late 20th century.
