Cochlear aqueduct

The cochlear aqueduct, also ductus perilymphaticus or Perilymphgang, is a small membranous duct connecting the perilymphatic space of the inner ear with the subarachnoid space. The cochlear aqueduct runs in the cochlear canaliculus, a bony canal, which extends from the scala tympani near the oval window to medial to the jugular foramen. The cochlear aqueduct is accompanied by a same vein, the vena aquaeductus cochleae.
