Code Access Security

Code Access Security (CAS ) is the security model in Microsoft's. NET Framework and represents Microsoft's solution is to prevent non-privileged and untrusted code from performing safety-critical actions. If an assembly is loaded by the common language runtime ( CLR), it will be inspected prior to their execution. It will also determine at what security zone the assembly belongs. A safety zone represents represents a collection of rights

Code which wants to perform security-related tasks, the right to perform this task by the CLR must in turn ask. The CLR checks with one pass through the call list ( Engl call stack ), the rights of assembly were granted by the membership of a security group and grant or turn prohibits the execution of this task.

The rights of a security zone are defined by the system administrator.
