Codrington is the main town of the island of Barbuda, which belongs to the island nation of Antigua and Barbuda.

Codrington was founded in 1685. At the 2001 census Codrington had 1325 inhabitants, which were 93.5 percent of the 1417 inhabitants of the island.

Traffic

The town has a regional airport. Daily air connections are made to the main island of Antigua. There is also a regular ferry service to Saint John's the capital of the state.
