Cody Bass

Cody Bass ( born January 7, 1987 in Owen Sound, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2011 the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Cody Bass began his career as a hockey player in Canada's top junior league Ontario Hockey League, where he was active for the Mississauga IceDogs and Saginaw Spirit 2003-2007. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the fourth round as a total 95 players from the Ottawa Senators

For the Senators, he gave in the 2007/ 08 season his debut in the National Hockey League. In the two seasons before the attacker was already in 14 games for the Ottawa's farm team in the American Hockey League, the Binghamton Senators, on the ice, for which he also plays since then as the NHL's Ottawa. In November 2008, Bass injured his shoulder, and he could deny a single game more for the rest of the season.

In July 2011 he signed a Zweiwegvertrag for one year at the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Internationally

For Canada Bass took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2005, where he took second place with his team.
