Cofete

Cofete is a small town on the west coast of Jandia belonging to Spain's Canary island of Fuerteventura. It belongs to the municipality of Pajara.

The town itself is dominated by a few miserable huts and an unusually solidly built bar. The locals from the nearby Morro Jable often come only on weekends here.

Not far from cofete is the built immediately after the end of World War II, and rumors shrouded villa winter. The little lying on the beach cemetery is associated with the construction of the villa and the former military zone on the Jandia peninsula.
