The Col des Mosses on the main road 11 is a 1445 m high mountain pass in the Swiss canton of Vaud in the Vaud Alps, on which the resort of Les Mosses has settled.

The regional rather significant Pass Road connects the Rhone Valley in Aigle with the Pays d' Enhaut at Château d'Oex. Even nationally, the connection is often used to get from the Bernese Oberland to the Valais. The road through the Col des Mosses was built in 1868, and in 1869 reversed a horse postal route over the pass.

The wide pass separates the Mont d' Or is located in the west of Pic Chaussy in the east. The pass forms the watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine. From the Col des Mosses to the south drained the rave Save a side stream of the Grande Eau. To the north flows the Hongrin; but the pass road does not follow the Hongrin Valley but via another pass crossing at La Presentation directly in the Pays d' Enhaut.

On the swampy area as top of the pass has evolved over time, the resort of Les Mosses, who belongs to the political community Ormont -Dessous. In winter the place because of the numerous ski lifts on the eastern slopes of Mont d'Or is frequented in summer it is an ideal starting point for hikes.
