Cole Kenneth Hauser ( born March 22, 1975 in Santa Barbara, California) is an American actor.
Family background
Cole Hauser's parents are Cass Warner Sperling and Wings Hauser. Warner Sperling is the daughter of Betty Mae Warner of the Warner Brothers dynasty, a painter, gallery owner and political activist and the daughter of Milton Sperling, who produced under his father Harry M. Warner films for Warner Brothers, and as a scriptwriter so successful worked, that he was nominated for an Oscar. Cole Hauser's parents divorced in 1977 when he was two years. According to his own testimony, he met his father know only at the age of just 15 years ago when he moved for a year to see him in Los Angeles. His mother moved several times the family residence within the United States and moved from Santa Barbara to Oregon to Florida, back to Santa Barbara - with him and his three half- siblings.
Career
For fun Hauser competed for a prestigious talent summer camp in New England and received the lead role in the play Dark of the Moon. His interest in acting was sparked so while his interest waned for the school. With almost 16 years, he confronted his liberal parents with the decision to leave high school and to seek his fortune in acting. After countless unsuccessful auditions he succeeded in the early 1990s with The Outsider and Confusion - Summer of Freaked entry into the film business. During the filming he made to a number of friendly contacts, then still just as unknown young actors like Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Rory Cochrane, Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, among others
In the film drama Skins he joined in 1994 under the direction of his father. The early 2000s, he was with roles in films such as Pitch Black - further increase Planet of Darkness, Tears of the Sun and 2 Fast 2 Furious its fame and took over in the movies Paparazzi and The Cave the lead roles.
