Colin Falconer (writer)

Colin Falconer (* 1953 in London, actually: Colin Richard Bowles ) is a British author and has as a writer of historical novels gained international notoriety.

Before he became a writer, he worked as a freelance journalist and has written articles for magazines and newspapers. He also wrote for radio and television, while he worked for five years on his first novel.

His breakthrough came with his bestseller " The Sultana ". Falconers novels have been translated into 16 languages. He regularly goes on long journeys to get to know the show places of his novels. Colin Falconer now lives with his family in a small coastal town in Western Australia.
