Colin Harrison (writer)

Colin Harrison ( * 1960 in New York City ) is an American writer and publishing editor.

Harrison writes thrillers and action novels set mostly in New York. His seventh novel, The Finder ( In the Maw of the Dragonlord, 2008) was nominated for the Dashiell Hammett Prize.

He attended Haverford College and the University of Iowa. From 1989 to 2001 he was an editor at Harper 's Magazine; he is an editor at the New York publisher Simon & Schuster in 2001. He lives with his wife, writer Kathryn Harrison, and their three children in Park Slope, a neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
