Colin Lewis

Colin Lewis ( born July 27, 1942 in Torquay ) is a retired British racing driver.

1964 started Colin Lewis at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo and was 25th in the road race. The British team, he finished in the team time trial in 15th place in 1965, he was third in the British Championships road race in the Amateur; two years later, and in 1968 he won the championship title of the professionals. As a result, Lewis played mainly racing in the UK. He won among others 1968 Weston Weekend, 1971, the Tour of the North in 1972, Derbyshire tour. Twice - in 1967 and 1968 - he started at the Tour de France.

1974 Lewis ended his active cycling career. He then worked as a coach.
