Collaborative real-time editor

With Real -Time Collaboration ( RTC) or Live Collaboration ( LC) the collaboration of at least two persons without any delay (real-time ) is called. The term is often used in connection with the subject of e -learning and Audio-/Video-Konferenzsystemen and refers generally to non-natural media. In this sense, RTC allows - in contrast to collaboration on natural media - the time-synchronous collaboration of several individuals across geographic boundaries.

A well established for this purpose term is Live Online Collaboration (LOC ). This is often used in conjunction with RTC via the Internet.
