Collin Raye

Collin Raye ( born August 22, 1960 as Floyd Collin Wray in De Queen, Arkansas ) is a country music singer and songwriter.

Collin Raye's mother was a successful musician who can boast, among other performances with Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. His father and uncle were musicians, so it was almost inevitable that Collin and his brother Scott were already the first time as a child on stage. Her first band, the Wray Brothers Band, the brothers founded in 1976. A number of singles were produced, of which only one was able to place in the rear areas of the country charts.

The band broke up in 1987, and Collin Raye then worked as a singer in Reno and Las Vegas. His marriage ended in divorce in 1980 closed after serious health problems of his wife and of his second child. In 1989 he moved to Nashville.
