Colombia took part in London at the 2012 Olympic Games. It was the 18th overall participation in the Olympic Summer Games.

After a positive doping result ( exogenous testosterone ) in a sample of 26 July 2012, the 400 - meter runner Diego Palomeque Echevarria was suspended.
