Colonel Abrams
Colonel Abrams (* in Detroit, Michigan) is an American singer, songwriter and musician House.
Biography
Colonel Abrams moved, when he was ten years old, with his parents from Detroit to Brooklyn, New York. There he had a band with his brother Morris in the late 1960s. In 1976, he became the lead singer at 94 East, a band that Prince played guitar. This was followed by the move to Surprise Package in New Jersey. This band had even a minor hit in 1984 with Leave the Message Behind the Door at Arthur Baker's New York label Streetwise Records .. The consequence Single Music Is the Answer became an international dance hit and gave Colonel in 1985 a solo contract with MCA.
In the late 1980s, Abrams has had some hits in the German and British singles charts, including those produced by Richard James Burgess Title Trapped, I'm Not Gonna Let You and How Soon We Forget. Trapped debuted at # 3 in the UK and reached gold status. Between 1984 and 1992, is to place nine tracks in the U.S. R & B charts succeeded. 1990 produced Larry Blackmon from Cameo the single Bad Timing.
Boards of Canada made in 1995 under the pseudonym Hell Interface to a remix of Trapped.
