Colonel Sibthorp

Charles de Laet Waldo Sibthorp (* February 14, 1783, † December 14, 1855 ), known as Colonel Sibthorp, was a British politician.

Colonel Sibthorp was because of his eccentric demeanor often caricatured deputy of the Tory party in the House. He was the most politically important and most persistent adversary of the first World's Fair ( Great Exhibition ) in London's Hyde Park in 1851.
